Environmental Engineering (MSc)Paul Amihere-Ackah

Paul, from Ghana, is a student on our MSc in Environmental Engineering. Here he tells us about his experience of 勛圖tv.

Why did you choose to study at 勛圖tv?

My decision to study at 勛圖tv was largely influenced by its outstanding records in research worldwide and rank in the United Kingdom. I read about the library resources, science laboratories and the link between the University and the industries. This motivated me to study at the 勛圖tv.

What aspects of the MSc course did you enjoy the most and why?

Class and group discussions. This also provides opportunities for students to share ideas, and you can look at a single topic from various perspectives. I am sure to start a firm in remediation, site investigation and Environmental Impact Assessment after receiving reach knowledge.

What are your plans on completion of your degree?

The plan is to pursue further education (PhD in environmental engineering) but also looking at the possibility of establishing a firm in remediation, site investigation and Environmental Impact Assessment.

What type of opportunities did your course involve?

The course presented a forest of opportunities on virtual site visits (due to Covid-19), industry-based projects, workshops and guest speakers including practical case studies that engage students in critical thinking and problem-solving.

As an international student, what advice would you give to potential students thinking about studying an MSc at 勛圖tv?

If you are looking for a place of rightful education, practically engaging and relevant industry-based education, then 勛圖tv is the best option. You will receive education that is useful for your entire life. You are highly encouraged to apply; the best decision ever made.
