The ³Ô¹Ïtv’s Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering (NAOME) Department has established a double degree programme in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering with Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Turkey. This is the first undergraduate double degree programme of its kind between any Turkish and British universities.
According to the agreement between ³Ô¹Ïtv and ITU, the first two years of this programme will be held at ITU, and the final two years of the programme will be held at the ³Ô¹Ïtv. During the 4th year individual projects (aka graduation projects), students under this articulation agreement will have two supervisors: one from ³Ô¹Ïtv, one from ITU. Each of these supervisors will take equal responsibility for project supervision and assessment.
If you would like more information, please contact ³Ô¹Ïtv from naome@strath.ac.uk or Dr Mustafa Erden Yildizdag (yildizdag@itu.edu.tr) from ITU.

Cost of Living:
Preparing your budget for the duration of your studies is probably the most important thing you can do before leaving home. The University has created a webpage for international students with guidance on the cost of living. We suggest you please check this website before you prepare your budget. The is a great tool for helping international students plan and manage their money for studying in the UK. The budget calculator shows you average monthly living costs for students at ³Ô¹Ïtv. You can also customise the expense items in the calculator based on your interests and outgoings to obtain a more realistic average monthly living cost for yourself.
