Studying

This months blog is on studying, and as it is China we are expected to spend quite a bit of time studying. There are many places on and off campus that we can study in, including cafes, libraries and classrooms.

Students line up outside the library at 6am in order to get a table and if they go away for lunch they will leave their stuff to ensure they can keep their spot, it can be tricky to find a spot in there for studying.

Cafes can also be full of people studying if you go to a popular one like Starbucks, however you can find less full ones to get your work done in. Bonus points for being able to get drinks and snacks whilst you study!

Classrooms are able to be used as long as there isn’t a class currently happening so you can stay behind after class or go there at a later time, unless the building is close obviously.

Dorm rooms are good for studying in too as they come with a desk, chair, and a desk light, so you can have nice lighting when studying at night.

Overall my favourite has to be studying in my room as I can remove all distractions and just focus on the work however at the start of the year I would study in the classrooms with other people.
