Personal statement

Dr Lisa McCann is a Reader in Digital Health and Care in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences. She is the Director of Research for CIS and the Programme Director for the MSc Digital Health Systems. Working within the Department's Digital Health and Wellness Group, Lisa has expertise in person-centred digital health interventions and working with people across the life course. Her particular interest areas include families with children with complex health care needs, teenagers and young adults diagnosed with cancer, adults diagnosed with cancer, remote patient monitoring, patient reported outcomes and collaborative / co-design approaches to digital intervention design and development. Lisa has experience of qualitative, mixed-methods and randomised controlled trial research studies.
